Le Maitre has been designing and manufacturing stage pyrotechnics and smoke machines since 1977 and is a highly recognised and respected brand in their industry. With a US and UK presence, they came to us to build a dual market website to serve both audiences better using the latest responsive technology. In addition, they needed an updated design to help deliver an improved user experience to their website visitors and to better reflect their brand.
With a huge range of products and variants, it was important that we made both the customer journey and access to product data as simple as possible. This was achieved via our mobile-first approach where we ensured that there were no issues or restrictions when the website was viewed on a smaller screen. A significant element of the project was the initial import of data via an automated process from the existing website to avoid the need for any manual entry.
With the final responsive website optimised for all devices, the result is a website that clearly explains the product ranges and supports the customer decision-making process. The look and feel of the website is rich and engaging with a resulting increase in time spent on site and organic traffic.
