Zibrant are a global events agency with an extremely high level of competition. It was important for their website to meet and go beyond the standards of their online competitors. Zibrant had various objectives that the new site had to achieve. These were to increase leads, be optimised for search engines, showcase Zibrant’s credentials and to add value to their existing clients. Not only did we have to redesign their website, it was essential for us to measure the progress of the new design to see how it was meeting these objectives and to optimise it further where necessary.
Before this new website went live we took note of the traffic volumes and sources, bounce rates, top website content and keywords used for the existing site. This gave us a benchmark to see how the new site had progressed. As a later step we reviewed the site using these figures as well as looking at other elements of the site, such as the visitors flow. We compared data from the old and new site in order for us to determine where the new site had improved and where it needed further development.
The new website has been successful at meeting Zibrant’s objectives. It drives a higher weekly average of traffic with the majority of people going to the home page and then to the contact page, meeting the objective of lead generation. The percentage of people finding their site through organic search traffic has increased showing that the new site is much more optimised for search engines and that our ongoing SEO campaign is working. The clear design of the site showcases their business credentials along with the awards and accreditation logos in the footer of the website. The final objective of adding value to their existing clients has been attained by the regular news and blog updates.
We are continuing our optimisation for this site to ensure that the objectives are still being met, and for us to further improve the ways in which we are meeting these.
