With a long term web and email strategy the time was right for our client to broaden their message and activity to incorporate the social channels where their loyal customers spent much of their leisure time. Following a new drive to widen the target market for our client’s range of delicious products we turned to an integrated Social Media Campaign to drive interest, raise awareness of their product range and subsequent sales. With only a couple of thousand Facebook Likes we were briefed to align this with the much higher levels seen for some of their peers.
WHAT WE DID
With an increased focus on the Social channels we first started with the website, providing more linking and space for displaying content and creating content and areas for the incoming traffic from them. Following an audit and initial research and the generation of a range of ideas, an integrated content marketing plan was put together and into action. With a mixture of product and availability information as well as regular competitions, helpful tips and amusing content we helped our client create a vibrant fast growing community.
Within a few weeks we had doubled the number of Likes on Facebook with high levels of engagement, virality and sharing. Within a few months we saw a five-fold increase in Likes and quickly passed the 10k mark bringing the client into the territory of their peer group. With the initial tone and style developed for the campaign we ended up with a consistent tone and persona for the brand for consumers to identify with.
