As part of a wider strategy that we developed with the client we had identified Mumsnet as a highly relevant digital marketing opportunity. As part of a multi-faceted approach the agency was required to develop a range of website banners to promote their yummy products to Mumsnet members. The banners needed to engage, educate and convert members to drive traffic through to our clients website.
As the digital assets that we created would be used in a variety of locations on Mumsnet we had to design and develop concepts to work in both rectangular MPU dimensions and the more traditional leaderboard banner dimensions. With a variety of messages to cover and then the final call to action to drive traffic for our client we set about creating storyboards to help us optimise the message, creative and dynamics such as the timing and file sizes.
With a mouth watering product range to promote we delivered a set of banners that displayed the yummy products and branded packaging in a lifestyle format using our photography and appropriate for the channel and its members. Viewers were left informed of the brand name, the packaging to look out for on the shelves, the range (focusing on their main and latest products), the benefits and with a call to action to both learn more and establish purchasing options.
